HitchHoist® Lifting Capacity
The maxiumum load capacity of the HitchHoist® crane depends on the rating of the hitch receiver. The following procedure will determine the maximum safe crane load for your vehicle.
- Locate the weight rating label on the hitch receiver.
- Find the maximum tongue and weight rating.
- Cross reference this number on the left side of the following chart to the same line to the right in the chart to obtain the maximum safe crane load rating.

Each HitchHoist® comes with the following parts for assembly:

WEIGHT
The entire unit weighs approximately 125 lbs when fully installed on the truck. The heaviest single component (the round base tube) weighs 40 lbs. Most labor regulations allow a single person to lift 40lbs. Total shipping weight is approximately 175 lbs.
